I did a new install of 19.10 on a new machine. When it boots to the GUI screen, I cannot log in. I am not getting any errors, it just doesn't do anything. I then try to go to the terminal window, which works, eventually the GUI screen appears on top of what I am doing. I cannot interact with the GUI. Commands I type will show up, so I am still interacting at the command line. I have no idea what is going on and my Unix knowledge is very dated.
